No words...yet

On the advice of our pediatrician, we contacted Connecticut's Birth to Three program (a program to help identify kids who might have some developmental delays to be sure to help get them "on track" before school). Two evaluators came out this morning to spend some time with Kai and me. Based on their "findings," Kai tested as "age appropriate in personal-social, cognition, communication, fine/gross motor skills and adaptive skills." So, they think everything's on track with him. He just isn't quite saying words yet. But it's very good news and I'm much relieved. So, we just have to continue working on getting more calories in him and hopefully he'll start talking soon!

I can't believe how big he has gotten. I can't wait to see you all in August. Miss you.

Hey Ruth Neni, Do we still get chocolate chip cookies if we let you know you haven't posted in a month?
