Learnin'

Learnin'

Kai has been doing amazing things lately. Like lining up his books (or dvds) on a bookshelf (aka the window sill). Or pushing the wagon on his own and not getting frustrated when he bumps into a wall because he's learned how to turn it! Or sticking tape to boxes (or himself). Or knowing "funf" is coming soon after "vier" when counting to five in German. Or knowing that "hush" also means "shhh" and he should do the "shhh" sign. And he's learned that there is a dance to go along with the chicken dance song that his card sings. It's not a perfect replica, but you know he's dancing!

He had an amazing time at the Memorial Day parade that goes down the main street in our town. (A big thank you to Sergio and Natalia for sending us the family pictures among others.) He watched all the people and trucks and kids. And luckily, he was hungry because we've started him on medicine to increase his appetite, so he spent the whole parade munching on a cookie!

More on his weight gain soon...
