I didn't really believe my friend, Traci, when she told me that the show Word World on PBS was responsible for her son identifying letters made out of sticks at 22 months! So, when we started recording it and watching it here, you can imagine my surprise how Kai really started to realize that letters were all around him! He'd find them everywhere, even on t-shirts! Here's a collection of photos and videos from Kai's fascination with letters (and just recently numbers)! Oh yeah, one of the pictures is of our sidewalk. And while I could never catch it on video, whenever Kai would walk down the driveway with a car or chasing a ball, I'd often see him stop and "read" the letters aloud, like he was trying to recite the alphabet.
